Happy New Year!

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to wish everyone a happy and safe New Year!! May 2012 bring love and happiness to all :)

Also, I wanted to post a picture of this super cool Stamp Pad holder I found for Stampin' Up ink pads. Andy and I are going tomorrow to get the stuff so that he can make it... (not me, but him, thanks Andy!) As of now, all my stamp pads are in a drawer... But I'd like to make it easier to assess them and here we go! This is made from Foam board, so it costs a lot less to make than to buy the ink holder from Stampin' Up! Yay :)

This was made by a lady named Karen, and there instructions are here.

Also, here is a picture of a Valentine's Day card that I made for my niece... Video to follow in a couple days. It's already filmed, I just have to wait to post it because I showed the new Stampin' Up products in it. I know Valentine's Day is still a ways away, but I though I'd get a jump start :) Enjoy!!

I used lots of goodies on this one... Look for the video soon!

Snowman Thank you Card

Hi everyone!!

So I'm back. I haven't been on in a month and now you have 2 posts from me in one day! I just wanted to share a video with you that I made today. I made this card with my students that last day of school before break. They each got to make their own card. I let them pick their stamp sentiment and their cuttlebug folder, but the rest we all had the same. It turned out really cute! You could use this card for lots of different reasons. I have shown you a version that can be used as a winter card that you can send out during these cold months, or as a thank you card.

One of my best friends just donated a table to Andy and me for our new apartment, so I think I'm going to use this card to give to them as a thanks for giving us the table :) Perfect timing on this card!!

Anyway, I hope you enjoy!

I used Stampin' Up paper and Shimmer Paint.
Cuttlebug folder - Snowflakes
www.mypinkstamper.com "Winter Punnies" Stamp set
Papertrey Ink paper and Ribbon
Heat embossing

Andy and I are off to see Wicked tonight! My Christmas present from my baby :) Can't wait! I hope everyone has a wonderful night!

It's been a while...

Hey all!! Wow... it's been a month since I've had the opportunity to post... I've just been sooo busy getting ready for Christmas and doing everything for my students, I was pretty much running around nonstop for about 2 weeks... But now I'm on Christmas break for another week and a half, and I've already got a bunch of videos filmed and ready to post! I just have to wait until January 4th when the new Stampin' Up Occasions Mini ordering starts because I've showed pictures of their new products in my video. I can post the pictures for now though and you can look for the videos in January. I will have some videos that I can post before that within the next couple days though because I've not got lots of time to craft, and I'm super excited to have more time finally!!!

Anyway, I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas/Hanukkah and got lots of craft stuff! I got some Cricut cartridges, a crop-a-dile, a big bite, and a Xyron machine. I also got a tripod so now I can film videos much easier for you guys :)

I also got $150 in gift cards to Michales, and I've already been shopping and spent most of it already, though I've got about $38 left still... And I'm going to buy some more Jetmax storage jars for all the Papertrey Ink buttons Andy ordered for me. I've got about 20 packs of buttons coming!! I also have over 20 packs of paper coming from Stampin' Up as well!! I can't wait! And they'll still be here in time for me to use them for about a week before I have to go back to work :)

So I don't go back until the 9th, and Andy has the week off right now, so I've been hanging with him for a bit. I moved in with him on the 10th! So now I get to be with him all the time :) I love it! It means I also have my own craft space now that I'm out of my parent's house. I have a video ready to post that shows my craft room, but I've got to wait :( Also, my friend Melanie was in from Texas for a couple days, so we crafted yesterday and went shopping! I got a bunch of stuff from Michales and Jo-Ann!

Anyway, my sister's birthday was on Wednesday, so I want to show you the card that I made for her 31st birthday! I'll post the video for you next week, but here's the picture.

I used a new stamp from Stampin' Up as well as some new embossing powder.
I also used a stamp from www.mypinkstamper.com
I also used elegant edges to create the background for the watermelon.
The paper is all from Stampin' Up and the patterned paper is from the DCWV Nana's Nursery Baby Girl stack

I'll give you more information on the video
I didn't take a picture of the inside, but you'll see that in my video as well :)

I've got a Valentine's Day card for my niece that I'll post later or tomorrow. Thanks for stopping by, sorry it's been so long.
